We want Virgincare staff with COVID-19 to feel cared for
This is why EHCAP is offering a confidential online coaching conversation about any aspect of having COVID-19 including both physical and mental health concerns.
The three tiers of support:
- access to online video or telephone coaching and support in managing at this difficult time. This is very much about having a conversation about practicalities of having COVID-19 as well as feelings and emotions. It is not meant in any way to replace accessing clinical support through NHS health care professionals.
- online resources provided by EHCAP exploring the science of stress using the concept of positive, tolerable and toxic stress. These resources are intended for use by families and extended networks of friends.
- links with resources that staff and families have recommended
This phase of the Culture of Kindness Project commenced on Wednesday 29th May and will run for a trial period of 8 weeks.
Feedback from clients will inform how the project develops.
The Essex Culture of Kindness Project commenced in January 2019 under the leadership of Zoe Oddy with the Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service. Training on the impact of traumatic experiences and the development of the child and adolescent brain, particularly the over developed stress response was shared across the county. Based on the premise of hope staff learned and developed skills in Mindful Emotion Coaching to build relationships and create safe environments through which to build resilience and the ability to adapt and self manage.
