Your feedback about our MACE training
You may find some of the discussions we run in workshops make you feel emotional esecially when looking at the Adverse Childhood Experience (ACEs) data in the Resilience documentary and when we run an exercise where you look at an ACE questionnaire. If you feel you would like to access emotional support one of the key organisations to approach in Somerset is Talking Therapies - this is a project funded through the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) national fund and access is free for all of us registered with an NHS GP. Somerset IAPT offer mindfulness sessions as a way of managing stress and EMDR as a treatment for post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
