The first year of our our Mindful Emotion Coaching Project draws to a close in January 2016 and we are looking forward to training a further 40 champions from February while also supporting existing champions embed their learning and cascade across Somerset......
The essence of the project has been about working together across services for children and young people, sharing our understanding of neuroscience and of the brain as a social organ, the key importance of relationships and how we develop emotional resilience - tapping into research by Dr Janet Rose at Bath Spa University, Professors Dan Siegel and John Gottman in the States and working with our own emotions.
