EHCAP is working with medical students, health visitors, school nurses, health connectors, parent family support advisors and family support workers developing the concept of coaching wellness.
Seeing the mind as both embodied and relational is something that neuroscientist Dan Siegel refers to as a building block in the process by which we can all better understand emotional and mental health.
Many of our resources are available for free to everyone. The best place to start is www.mindfulemotioncoaching.co.uk , The first link on this page will take you into our interactive site. The video clips we use in workshops can be streamed from the homepage but to access our powerpoints and trainer notes you will need first to register with Groupsite and then to request access to the Wellness Coaches section. The second link is to The Little Book of Coaching Wellness, the third is to our online forms and the fourth to information about project work across the country. Below the links is Amy -Somerset based Parent Family Support Advisor- demonstrating her interpretation of Dan Siegel's Hand Model and lastly a link to a primary school friendly leaflet about Mindful Emotion Coaching produced in collaboration with Facts4Life.
Click here to view our Wellness Plan which I encourage all of you to use as a core framework for working with staff, parents and young people. We are developing a version for younger children..
Click here for a direct link to The Little Book of Coaching Wellness and to the beginning of a series of Flyers written by Wellness Coaches talking about how they are integrating Mindful Emotion Coaching and ACE Awareness into their work
The trauma informed psycho education tool that EHCAP has developed is Mindful Emotion Coaching and Adverse Childhood awareness - the MACE Approach.
Very best wishes
